1st day of Halloween!!

first day of this half terms holiday club and the kids went all out with the loo roll making these mummies!! tomorrow, more new kids, and new staff!! exciting times!!

Back in the Office

Hey Guys. This is one of my last full days at the office until Holiday club starts in October. Bookings have come in, but we still need more!! Also, confirmation letters have started being sent :-)

This October will have a Halloween Theme as most October clubs do, and most definatly Fancy Dress friday will be on like Donkey Kong! Perfect chance for all you kids to try out your trick or treating outfits for the weekend!!

Back In the Office

Just a quick message. After a brief week off im back in the office today and already planning for October Half Term.

I just printed 250 letters so expect booking forms soon. Were expecting a busy club so get your forms in bright and early.

Scrappy Thursday

Today we finally got round to using our play recourse centre scrap. It was fun but club has never, ever been such a mess. Worse timing ever for visitors :-). Ah well, at least the kids enjoyed!!

week 4 begins today!!

It's week four and were starting club classics week with an old school classic..... bridge that gap!! its quiet so ill have time to post pics later today, over and out captain!!! the pic is of one of last weeks total wipeout courses!!

Update.... finally!!

Ok, so I guess I promised WAY more updating than I actually have. Summer has been going really, really well. Yesterday's election was a huge hit although im looking forward to friday a little less due to the result :-) Today tv week kicks in bigtime as our mice face the zanny challenges of total wipeout and then the children choose how they'd design the Big Brother house!! ed The pic is my personal favourite castle from last week, enjoy

2nd week announcement

2nd week announced.................. Movie Mania!!!
Dress as your favourite characters in Disney Movies on friday!!
The weeks activities will include building your very own toy story characters from garbage, Air rockets to help Despicable Me capture the moon and Giant Knex Marmadukes!!!

All starts on the 2nd of August!!!

Week 1's Theme announced

I, just like everyone else have a terrible case of world cup fever. And coupled with Wimbledon it really is a Summer of Sports. As such I am happy to announce that the first week of this years Holiday Club will be themed the 'Summer Sports Spectacular!!'

As such the first weeks Fancy dress theme will be Sports! Football Kits, Rugby Jerseys or something more impressive like say.... full American Football gear ;-) are all encouraged.

Week 2's theme is coming, when...... Soon!!

First Big Summer Announcement

I thougtht I'd go right for it and hit everyone with the first Club announcement straight off so here it is................... This summer every friday will be a themed Fancy Dress Day :-)

Fancy dress will be mandatory amongst staff and optional for Children but highly encouraged!!

Yo, its ed, XLWales Holiday Club Manager!! Ive decided to run a blog that lets Kids who attend Holiday Club follow various announcements for this years Summer Holiday Club as and when they happen :-).
